The Islamic Community of Kansas (ICK) is dedicated to embodying the principles of Islam as a congregation, drawing inspiration from the teachings of the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh). The organization's vision is to serve as a cornerstone for a model community, representing practicing Muslims of diverse backgrounds who are united in their faith and governed democratically. The ICK fosters an environment characterized by inclusivity, tolerance, and constructive engagement with the broader community.

In line with its mission, ICK emphasizes several core values:

ICK has outlined specific goals to further its mission:

• To live and share Islamic faith with all of humanity
• To impart Islamic beliefs and values within a framework that encourages deepening spirituality and active community participation
• To cultivate leadership for stewardship through community service
• To transform Mosques into vibrant centers for worship and community engagement
• To empower members of the community to lead lives aligned with Islamic principles

Providing a range of services, ICK is committed to serving both the Muslim community and the broader public in Johnson County, Kansas, as well as the Kansas City, KS metro area. Services include five daily prayer sessions, Friday congregational prayers accommodating over 400 individuals, and educational programs tailored for both adults and children. The center also offers various activities for youth enrichment, alongside outreach initiatives aimed at fostering interfaith dialogue through Dawaa programs and regular open houses. Notably, language classes in Arabic and Fiqh are offered for non-Muslims. ICK embraces a rich tapestry of Muslim identities, serving individuals from numerous ethnic backgrounds including Arab, Pakistani, Indian, African, among others.
